Erin is a former special education teacher who is currently earning her Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s degree from Walden University. She is also a single mom of two young kids, four rescue pets, and an impervious beta fish. She is a member of American Counseling Association and Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society. Erin has enjoyed many years of teaching and mentoring children, ages ranging from preschool to senior in high school. She hopes to combine her experience in education with a client-centered approach to counseling. Erin believes the human spirit can transcend any struggle when given a supportive, safe, and nurturing environment in which to feel supported and thrive. She has a passion for helping children feel understood and assisting families to overcome adversity while reaching their full potential in a way that is meaningful for them. In her free time, Erin is a keyboard warrior for animal rescues, writes for a small online community, and takes too many pictures she will never delete off her iPhone. She is absolutely thrilled to enrich her knowledge at Northshore Counseling & Wellness.
