Fees for Therapy
How much does therapy cost?
Fees are determined by insurance fee schedules, out of pocket payment options, and session length.
How we help you get started with counseling:
- We coordinate billing
- We contact your insurance
- We work with you to structure a plan
We contact your insurance company and determine coverage, benefits, deductible, co-pay and authorization. Patients are responsible for fees if their insurance denies benefits. Payment is expected at appointment visits. We want to help you, if you are motivated to improve your life but concerned about fees, please contact us and we will work to structure a healing and billing plan that works for you (click here).
Missed Session Fees
If you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you do so MORE THAN 24 hours in advance. In this case, we will work with you to reschedule your appointment in the same week, even if that means accommodating your schedule with a phone session.
If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged a missed session fee. This is because with such short notice we are unable to book other people in those session slots, and we can not bill insurance for sessions that do not occur. For this purpose, we require that a valid credit card be kept on file. You don’t have to pay for your regular sessions or co-pays with this card, but it secures your spot on our schedule and can be used in the event of missed session fees that you don’t make other arrangements to pay.
Up-Front Bundled Payments
In the event that you do not wish to keep a credit card on file, we accept up-front payment for session fees in a bundled format. Again, this merely secures your spot on the schedule in leiu of keeping a credit card on file. You may elect to pay for services at the time of the appointment with a different payment method.
Please use the PayPal button below to select the payment option you prefer. Any fees not used will be refunded to you at the completion of your treatment.
