Andre Sagrera Judice, Ph.D., LPC, LMFT, DCEP
Owner of North & South Shore Counseling & Wellness
Dr. Judice received her Ph.D. from the University of New Orleans in 2001. She has worked as a psychotherapist in a wide range of settings, including substance abuse, brain injury rehabilitation, and partial hospitalization settings. She is a licensed Professional Counselor and a Marriage and Family Therapist. She serves as an Adjunct Faculty member with Capella University. In her private practice, Dr. Judice focuses on the treatment of mood disorders, dissociative disorders, substance abuse, anxiety, trauma, marriage counseling and family issues. Although she uses a wide range of treatment modalities, she specializes in techniques such as hypnosis, EMDR, ACT, and Energy Psychology.
Dr. Judice is a member of the Louisiana Counseling Association and served as President of the Louisiana Marriage and Family Counseling division of LCA for 2010-2011. She is also trained in Collaborative Divorce and is a member of the International Association of Collaborative Professionals. She is pursuing diplomat status with the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology.
Micah P. Hatchett, Ph.D., LPC
Dr. Micah Hatchett received her doctorate in counselor education in August, 2008 and has been a counselor since December, 2001, receiving her master’s degree in counselor education with a concentration in mental health counseling. She has excelled in a variety of settings including a community mental health clinic as well as a grant-funded project designed to help children cope with divorce. Now in private practice, she continues researching and counseling people enduring diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, substance abuse, and personality disorders. She facilitates the Coping and Support Group and also enjoys being a mother and wife.
Linda Collings, Ph.D., M.P.
Dr. Linda Collings is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and a licensed Medical Psychologist, affording her prescriptive authority in the state of Louisiana. Dr. Collings received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1994. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Tennessee-Memphis Health Sciences Center. In 2011, Dr. Collings completed her Post-Doctoral Masters of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology. She has worked in private practice and hospital settings, and most recently as a behavioral science faculty member at the East Jefferson General Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Collings’ areas of interest include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, and psychological/psychoeducational evaluations. She is a member of the Louisiana Association of Medical Psychologists.
Dana Duet-Champagne, M.Ed., LPC
Dana Duet-Champagne is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. Dana has experience in both the public school setting and private practice. She has helped students and families on a variety of issues including sexual abuse, depression, grief, anxiety, low self esteem, and self injurious behavior. Dana worked at the Equestrian Therapy Center of Slidell where she focused on children and adults dealing with depression and issues surrounding divorce. Dana has specialized training in EMDR – Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing – a therapeutic approach for healing the effects of traumatic and distressing life events. EMDR is a psychotherapy approach used to quickly and efficiently heal emotional wounds, blocks and limitations showing great success in patients with PTSD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks and many other issues. Janis D. Caserta, M.Ed., NCC, LPC, LAC
With an undergraduate degree in psychology, Janis Caserta received her Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2005. She has worked in a variety of settings including individual therapy, in-patient and intensive outpatient addictions treatment, school counseling, and Parenting Coordination and Mediation. Janis is a Nationally Certified and state Licensed Professional Counselor. She also holds state licensure in addictions counseling, and certification in Parenting Coordination and Mediation from Loyola University College of Law. Mrs. Caserta has also been trained in Collaborative Divorce.
Janis is a member of the Louisiana Counseling Association, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors and Trainers. She is married with three grown children and six grandchildren.
Dr. Kristen UnKauf, Ph.D., LPC
Dr. Kristen UnKauf is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in individual therapy for adults 18 years and older, and currently serves as the mental health columnist for Sophisticated Woman Magazine.
With over 12 years experience as a National Certified Counselor followed by licensure in the state of Louisiana as well as a doctoral degree from the University of New Orleans in Counselor Education, Dr. UnKauf works with a broad spectrum of clients with issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, phase of life concerns as well as GLBT issues.
In addition to experience as a university mental health counselor and private practitioner, Dr. UnKauf presents at state, local, and national level conferences and to general audiences speaking on topics relevant to counselor education.
Dr. UnKauf approaches counseling from a systems perspective which views the family or social support system as an emotional unit of interlocking relationships which have an impact on the thinking, feeling, and behavior of each family member. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Chris DesJardins, M.Ed., CI
Chris DesJardins is a recent graduate of the University of New Orleans Masters in Counselor Education and is working toward licensure. Chris also has a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from the University of New Hampshire and experience working with young children in an education setting. She is a mindfulness based therapist with an emphasis on therapies that work with the body/mind connection. To this end she has receieved specialized training in Energy Psychology, Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She is working toward becoming a certified trauma therapist.
Chris has worked in individual counseling and intensive outpatient settings. She has worked with issues such as anxiety, substance abuse, sexual abuse, depression and adjustment disorders.
Suzanne M. Kelley, M.Ed., NCC, CI
Suzanne Kelley, a recent graduate of the Southeastern Louisiana University Counselor Education program and Licensed Professional Counselor- Intern (CI) with the plans to become an LPC soon. She is also a National Certified Counselor and graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University. Her counseling experience includes a wide variety of issues with children, teenagers, adults, couples and family/groups.
Suzanne is a native of Mandeville, Louisiana and a member of the Louisiana Counseling Association.
Priscilla Hurd. M.Ed., NCC, CI
Priscilla Hurd earned her Master’s Degree in Counselor Education, with a specialization in couples and family counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University. She is currently a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and is an LPC-Intern pursuing her Louisiana State Licensure to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She has experience working as a volunteer for the Battered Women’s Program crisis hotline in Baton Rouge, a counselor practicum student for Southeastern Louisiana University’s University Counseling Center, and a student counselor intern for Trinity Counseling and Training Center in New Orleans. Priscilla’s has experience working with children, teens, and adults for individual work, as well as couples and families, dealing with an array of different issues. She works from an integrative approach, tailoring the interventions used on a case-by-case basis. Priscilla holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Louisiana State University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, Louisiana Counseling Association, and graduated as a member of Chi Sigma Iota (Counseling Honor Society).
Priscilla is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She currently resides in Metairie, Louisiana with her husband and two adorable dogs, Mr. Echo and Lyla.
Casie Depreo, MHS, LPC, CRC
Casie Depreo graduated from Louisiana State University with her Bachelor’s in Psychology then achieved her Master’s of Health Sciences in Rehabilitation Counseling from LSU Health Sciences Center. Casie is licensed as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and is an active member of the American Counseling Association. Casie is employed as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with Louisiana Rehabilitation Services where she specializes in assisting individuals with physical, metal, and emotional disabilities in going back to work.
Holland Miller, Psy.D., L.P.C.
After graduating from LSU with her B.S. in Psychology, Holland Miller moved to Chicago to pursue her M.A. in Counseling: Art Therapy as well as her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Adler School of Professional Psychology. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient treatment, juvenile justice, school counseling, and prison aftercare. She works with individuals of all ages and focuses on the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, stress and coping, and relationship concerns. Holland Miller incorporates a variety of therapeutic techniques based on the unique needs and desires of the individual. She offers the opportunity to engage in art therapy which provides a creative and unique approach to wellness.
Michelle Hauer, M.Ed., NCC, Counselor Intern
Michelle Hauer graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and in 2010 with a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education with a focus in Clinical Mental Health. She currently holds the title of National Certified Counselor (NCC) and is working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Michelle has worked with juvenile offenders in Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center; she counseled them on personal issues and assisted with their legal issues by maintaining contact with probation officers and tracking with their cases. In addition to Florida Parishes, Michelle worked with adolescent residents in Southeast Louisiana Hospital. Michelle works with individuals from all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. She has counseled individuals on many challenges, including Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Family Disruption and Lifestyle Changes.
Jan Doty, R.N., MA in Marriage and Family Counseling
Married, mother of 4, grandmother of 7
Experience includes youth services counseling, anger management groups, psycho-education on parenting, drug abuse, and adolescence, adolescent drug program, children of divorce, parents of eating disordered family members group, inpatient adolescent hospital, school counseling support groups, and mental health provider in school setting.
Educated in both nursing and counseling, Jan’s goal is to assist in learning the skills to achieve physical and mental health.
Bianca Puglia, Ph.D. LPC, NCC
Dr. Bianca Puglia earned her Ph.D. in Counseling from Old Dominion University (Norfolk, Virginia) in August, 2008. She has been a counselor since receiving her master’s in counseling from the University of New Orleans in December, 2001. Dr. Puglia’s clinical experience includes working with a variety of psychological situations such as, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, divorce, grief and psychotic disorders. Dr. Puglia has also conducted numerous workshops and presentations. A New Orleans native, Dr. Puglia has returned home to join Southshore Counseling and Wellness after serving as an Assistant Professor at Eastern Kentucky University for four years.

A Detroit native and the initial contact for clients, Frank is our office manager. As a Graduate from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management with 30 years in the aviation industry, Frank keeps the office flying every day. He is a Mandeville resident, an avid pilot and did we mention glue?
